THINGS TO KNOW ABOUT VISITING VISA
Often times, people ask this question, can I use my visitors visa to process my study visa application?
A capital NO.
This is because each visa varies from each other and has it’s different functions.
What you need to know is that, The Standard Visiting Visa can only be used within the range of 6 months and if you are applying for a program, or a course it means, the course is a six month study course, and you must complete your study or business activities before expiration of the six months.
NOTE: Visitors visa is not the same as Study visa, and it is no longer than six month.
In-addition, it’s important you know the following rules about Visitors Visa while visiting a foreign country.
- You cannot work with a tourist visa.
- You cannot do business under a tourist visa.
- You cannot study while you have a tourist visa.
- You cannot become a permanent resident with a tourist visa.
If you are applying for a study visa, your visa will be totally different from visitors visa.
NOTE: You can convert your tourist/visitors visa to study visa but that also depends on the country’s policy.
